Visualizing

At 3 months, accommodation is excellent and even superior to the one of an adult. At 4 weeks, baby follows by the eyes a toy one can move in front of him. At 6 weeks, baby can follow by the eyes persons moving in a room. By 8 weeks, his look follows an object in movement on more than 90° and around 12 weeks, follows-up on a side to the other.

Distincting

About 3 or 4 months, the looking  can follow objects moving while turning the head. At 6 months, baby tries to see what can match his interests while changing his position. It is only from 12 months that baby can follow by the look an on the move quick object. The newborn sees comparatively well the very contrasted things and not very remoted. He can distinguishe a surface to the volume about 6-7 weeks and the difference between concave and convex about 10 weeks.

Colors

From 4 months, he can see colors as an adult. A precocious interaction exists between the child and his mother, that underlines again the importance of the emotional relations.
