Cry or tears can reveal specific emotion and use different tones, rhythms. Baby uses crying to translate us some kind of his own comments. Does baby cry for specific pain? Or maybe that baby is angry or sad or afraid or simply asking you to take care of him?... And then, sometimes, you just do not understand. It is normal!

Don't discourage your baby from crying, mainly when he's already upset and keep in mind to give him the comfort he needs emotionally and check whether you may be unintentionally reinforcing the crying and be sure to pay him extra attention. Expression of all babies and children goes through cries. It is necessary for them and  you recomfort as early as the first cry, knowing how to reply by listening your baby! There are thousands reasons to cry such as hunger of course, fatigue, pain but also frustration, fear, etc... These emotional signs are especially important even if baby can not yet express what he's feeling in words and come out in tears.There are babies who routinely respond with tears and often you can feel embarrassed. Baby's temper seems to play a role in determining what he's trying to communicate.Tears and Laughts express akind of sensitivity and this is positive as later on  baby and child generally become more empathic. Quickly pick up and respond to these signs could it be cry, tear as well as laugh.
