et's define it as the moment when baby is quite ready to move his whole body one foot after another with some kind of support in a position of imbalance, quite mechanical that makes every move unstable. 

ImageFirst, the child walks while getting up very high his legs and while doing unequal steps in different directions. It keeps the elbows bend and the arms in abduction.

10 Months

When around 10 months, the child never did the experience to hold himself standing on a foot, he or she goes therefore to have to explore this basic property of walking in order to master it and to obtain a fluid and stable way to move.

15 Months

When around 15 months, baby can not launch a bullet without falling. Around 16-18 months, the child can climb a stairway while putting a foot after the other on each walks and while being somehow anxious. At 21 months, baby can take an object without losing the balance.

2 y.o

At 2 years, baby climbs and go down a stairway alone while putting the two feet on each walks; baby can give a kick in a ball without falling. When around 2 years and half, baby can walk on the point of the feet and jump but does not hold to stand on an single foot.

3 y.o

At 3 years, baby goes up a stairway while putting a single foot on each walk but goes down while putting the two feet on each walks.
